Defend with a line

Tap the mint m for barrel slope, or violet b for station height. Choosing a changed value immediately moves the station and costs 1 battery. The station is always at (0, b).

A new run starts with 20 battery. Every new wave adds 20 to your remaining battery, up to a maximum of 40. Each changed coefficient costs 1; Fire costs 3. Wait costs 0: comets advance one turn without firing or changing your aim. Opening choices and selecting the current value are free. Wait for each adjustment to settle. Firing never refills the battery.

Fire hits every current bright comet center on the line, then survivors travel. Comets at x = 1 can still be shot: aim at their current coordinates and Fire before advancing another turn. Tails show where comets came from. A comet crossing the left axis continues into its surface city. Lost cities stay lost.

Below 3 battery, aiming, firing, and Wait stop and surviving comets keep flying until they land. At exactly 3, changing a coefficient ends firing for this wave. If any city survives, the next wave adds 20 to what remains, capped at 40. Clear a wave with at least 3 remaining to choose Next wave when ready. Only losing the last city ends the campaign. Restart begins a fresh campaign with 20 battery. There is no aiming beam.
